Edible Parts: All parts (leaves, leaf stalks, flower heads, and roots)
Modes of Consumption: Leaves can be eaten raw in salads or cooked; leaf stalks and flower heads can be eaten raw or cooked; the aromatic seeds are used as a flavoring in cakes, bread, and stuffings; roots can be eaten cooked.
