Fennel Omelet

Plant used: Foeniculum Vulgare

Community: Chouf


  • 1 bunch of Fennel
  • 10 Eggs
  • 4 cups of flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 bunch of green onions
  • 50 g of green garlic leaves

Method of Preperation

  1. Mix the eggs with the flour, salt, pepper and baking powder.
  2. Chop finely the onions, leaves of garlic, and Fennel.
  3. Add the vegetables to the flour and the eggs mixture.
  4. Mix all together.
  5. Take a tablespoon of the mixture and drop it in oil to fry.
  6. Cook until one side is brown and then flip it over.
