Borage with Onion

Plant used: Borago Officinalis

Community: Aarsal


  • 1 kg of borage
  • 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • Lemon juice (to taste)

Method of Preperation

  1. Cut the borage root.
  2. Clean and chop the borage to medium size.
  3. Boil in water for 15 minutes over medium heat.
  4. Fry sliced onions in preheated oil until golden brown.
  5. Add borage.
  6. Leave 3 minutes on the heat then remove.
