Wild Thyme salad

Plant used: Origanum Syriacum

Community: Kueikh


Ingredients

  • 1 Kg of wild thyme
  • 200 g of green onions
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1/3 cup of lemon juice
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1 pomegranate


Method of Preperation

  1. Remove the stems.
  2. Clean the leaves thoroughly (keep aside).
  3. Chop onions and tomatoes finely.
  4. Add to wild thyme, lemon juice, pomegranate, salt, and olive oil.
  5. Mix all ingredients.
