Dried Eminium Stew

Plant used: Eminium Speculum


  • 100 g dried rubbed Eminium leaves
  • 250 g lamb meat cubes
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon allspice

Method of Preperation

  1. Sautee onion in oil until pale golden color.
  2. Add meat, salt and spice and sauté until meat is slightly browned.
  3. Add water to cover and cook until meat is well done.
  4. Add dried leaves and continue cooking on low heat for 7-10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with bread or rice.
