Bull's eye with chickpeas

Plant used: Tragopogon Buphtalmoides

Community: Chouf


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of chickpeas
  • 1 cup of onions
  • 1 kg of Bull's eye
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice


Method of Preperation

  1. Soak the chickpeas for 12 hours.
  2. Crack the chickpeas.
  3. Fry the onions on preheated oil.
  4. Add in the chickpeas.
  5. Add the cleaned Bull's eye, salt, lemon juice.
  6. Fry all together.
  7. Eat when cool.
